The Film Gallery
Hello, and welcome friends.  Here are selected images taken from various dark sky locations
during my days as a traveling 35mm film astrophotographer.

Equipment included a Nikon F and  OM-1 SLR, various Nikkor and Zuiko lenses, an Intes MK69 on a Losmandy GM-8., and various E6 slide films., which replaced hypered emulsions.

In many ways, film was even more challenging than today's CCD imaging.  Favorite emulsions were constantly changed or discontinued, and many had to be put through a labor intensive process called hypersensitization. Success of critical elements such as focus, composition, and tracking were unknown until after development!
