The Great Orion Nebula and The Running Man

What can one say about this breathtaking sight? "Canst thou...loose the bands of Orion? Job 38:31. Certainly one of the heavens' most exceptional objects, it is easily observed naked-eye in the sword of Orion's belt. M42, the larger emission region is a stellar nursery where new suns are being birthed. The smaller reflection nebula above is NGC1973-75-77 and commonly called The Running Man or Ghost Nebula. Do you see his outstretched arms and long stride in the magenta center of the blue area?
