NGC 2626 Nebula
NGC 2626 in Vela
is a reflection, emission, and absorption nebula, largely illuminated by B1 star CD-40 4432 and ionized by the O8 quadruple star system HD 73882.
At center is a beautiful, bright blue reflection nebula, with obscuring, brown dust clouds and reddish hydrogen emission from the HII region, RCW 27.
At 3,200 light-years distance, this field of view would span 30 light-years across, along the Vela Molecular Ridge.
