NGC 7496 Galaxy
NGC 7496 in Grus
is a barred spiral galaxy 60,000,000 light-years from Earth, and 75,000 light years across.
Discovered by John Herschel in 1834. it is a Type 2 Seyfert galaxy with a high star formation rate around its nucleus.
NGC 7496 is a member of the NGC 7582 Galaxy Group.
