is a faint reflection nebula in the constellation, Perseus. At ~1,000 light-years distance, the nebula is listed in the van den Bergh Reflection Nebulae Catalog, published by astronomer Sidney van den Bergh in 1966. vdB 24 is illuminated by the light of the variable star XY Persei,
actually three times the size of our sun!
